Senior Advisor, LBMA Asia
Mr Jeremy East is LBMA’s Senior Advisor for Asia and is based in Hong Kong. He is also the Chief Executive of East Wind Capital, a commodity consultancy. Prior to this he spent 11 years with Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Metals Trading & Commodities for Greater China and North Asia (GCNEA). Before joining Standard Chartered, Mr East ran Precious Metals at Commerzbank and was also a Board member of Argor Heraeus – the LBMA accredited Swiss gold refinery. He was also a member of the LBMA Management Board and Membership Committee and an advisor to the SGE. Mr East previously advised on HKEX gold futures.
