HKEX Research Funding Scheme is set up to help nurture homegrown talent and capabilities in research and development, and support local university research projects that aim to bring long-term positive impact to capital markets, communities and the natural environment in Hong Kong.

Reflecting one of the HKEX’s strategic pillars, the scheme is themed “Connecting Today with Tomorrow” and welcomes innovative research in the fields of ESG, sustainable finance, biotechnology and specialist technology.
