Composition
Consists of at least five members -
- the Chief Executive of HKEX
- additional members who are distinguished business leaders, policymakers or industry experts with a global perspective nominated by the Chairman of the Board or the chairman of the Council
Major roles and functions
- advise the Board on the developments of major international financial centres
- provide the Board with insights on the global geopolitical situation, the new economy and global policy initiatives which may have an impact on the financial sector
- advise on any other issues raised by the Board from time to time
Operating mode
Meet with the Board twice a year with additional meetings if considered necessary
