Global Head of Trading and Head of Markets – Asia

Anshul Sidher is currently Global Head of Trading as well as Head of Markets for Asia. Based in Singapore, Mr Sidher is responsible for ANZ Global Markets Trading and Asia Markets business covering 14 trading floors across multiple regions in FX, Rates, Commodities and Credit. Since joining ANZ in 2012, Mr Sidher has successfully restructured Rates business and developed new product lines through solutions capabilities in Local Markets, Rates (G4, Repo, Non-linear products) which has spearheaded ANZ’s Regional Growth. Central to this is the setup of xVA risk management globally for ANZ including Capital, CVA, FVA and Collateral Management. Mr Sidher has been instrumental in driving Global Markets’ platform development moving ANZ to a ‘state of the art’ collateral and funding aware platform replacing pricing, P&L and market risk with a new industry standard model, which has provided ANZ with a competitive edge and better risk management tools. Before joining ANZ, Mr Sidher held various trading positions with other Investment Banks such as Barclay Capital (Head of Structured Derivatives Trading, Head of Offshore Rates and Bond Basis Trading), Dresdner Kleinwort (Head of USD and Asian Exotics), Citigroup (Rates Exotics Trader) and ABN (Rates Exotics Trader). Mr Sidher holds a Masters in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management.
