Ee Chuan Ng is responsible for Bloomberg's index and portfolio analytics business in Asia-Pacific. Bloomberg's index business draws upon a 40 year tradition of market leadership and today, the Bloomberg Barclays indices are the most widely used indices for fixed income investors globally. Mr. Ng is also responsible for Bloomberg’s portfolio analytics solutions, enabling investment managers to understand and manage performance and risk.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Ng was the General Manager of Bloomberg's Greater China business and Chairman of the China Office Committee. Based in Beijing, he established and grew Bloomberg's presence in the Chinese markets for seven years and led strategic initiatives in product development, client engagement and stakeholder management.

Mr. Ng joined Bloomberg in 2001 and is part of the company's senior business management team in Asia. Before moving to China, he held various positions in Bloomberg’s trading solutions and order management system business, where he worked with a wide spectrum of clients in asset management, insurance, dealer and banking industries across Asia-Pacific.

Mr. Ng has had stints in the government of Singapore as Assistant Director for the Ministry of Trade and Industry and as Head, International Trading for the Trade Development Board. He has a Master's degree in Business from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
