As provided in Article 126 of the
Articles of Association, any dividend unclaimed after a period of 6 years from the date for payment of such dividend shall be forfeited and shall revert to HKEX. In this connection, shareholders entitled to but yet to receive or claim dividend payment of the dividends payable by HKEX are advised to contact HKEX’s registrar as soon as possible. Subject to the completion of the necessary formalities, it normally takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks for HKEX’s registrar to process a shareholder’s request for payment of unclaimed dividends.
