Director, Market Infrastructure and Disruptive Technologies, Asia, World Gold Council
Mr Prakash Shah is the Director of Market Infrastructure and Disruptive Technologies at World Gold Council. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for leading the World Gold Council's market infrastructure and Fintech related activities for the gold market in South Asia and South East Asia.
He has over 15 years' experience in the financial markets covering commodities and fixed income. Prior to joining the World Gold Council, Mr Shah lead the trading activities across the precious metals markets at an Australian bank and spent over 5 years at an American bank responsible for trading, sales and structuring global commodities. Mr Shah also worked at a leading fixed income trading firm for 7 years.
He holds a Master’s in Management studies with specialisation in Finance and Econometrics.
