Mr He Jinbi, the Board Chairman of Maike Group, has an EMBA degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and is a representative at the 13th NPC. He is also the Deputy Chairman of Shaanxi Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Chairman of Xi’an High-tech District Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the special financial adviser of Xi’an High-tech District Management Committee . In 1993, he founded Maike Group consisting of Maike Metals International Limited and Maike Investment Holding (Group) Co. Ltd. The former is a comprehensive commodity financial service provider that integrates commodity trading, supply chain financial services, futures brokerage, asset management, strategic investment and modern logistics. The latter is a diversified industry investment and management group focused on industry integration and urban operations, with investments in varied businesses, offices, hotels, cultural tourism, development of characteristic small towns, culture and creativity, modern logistics, modern property management services, etc.
As a veteran in the international commodity trade, Mr He contributed enormously to the development of the non-ferrous metal industry and the local economy. He is hailed as “China’s pioneer in copper” by the industry. Mr He is considered a high-level expert in the field of metal futures, in China. In 2018, he was elected as the Standing Deputy Chairman of the First Council of Xi’an Entrepreneurs Convention, and as the honorary Chairman of Entrepreneurs Chamber of Credit and Self-Discipline under Shaanxi Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Vice-President of the Association for Love and Poverty Relief from All walks of life in Shaanxi.
